Monday This 'n That

I haven't done the Monday This 'n That posting for a long while, mostly because I've been outside doing the work during the cooler early morning hours when I'd be doing most of my thinking, planning, and writing. But today is such a lovely rainy day that I'm forced to sit inside, light a candle, order more Simpson & Vail literary teas, and plan the week out a little more than usual. So, here goes with my goals for this week...

Homemaking Special Projects

Vacuum and spot-wash dining carpet post-birthday party for a 1yo. 😏
Finish curtain for medicine closet doorway.
Harvest mints.
Continue harvesting beans and squashes.
Dehydrate squashes.
Get materials and paint lumber for putting up more bookshelves like these:

Yardening
Haul wood chips & rocks to new stepping stone walkway.
Haul wood chips to flower bed extension.
Mosaic 3 stepping stones.

Sewing/Crafting
Make at least the two rows of stars on Autumn Jubilee 2020 quiltalong (my OMG).
Progress on my dress.
Mark out at least two more rows of Everyday Embroidery; be more faithful at doing it daily.

Hope your day is full of fun, creative, and profitable things.

  1. I love rainy days as much as I love sunny ones :) I'm intrigued by you dehydrating squashes - can you do a post on that please?! How to and what you use them for?? Have a wonderful week! xx
