This year I'm joining up with Pat Sloan's "Home Is..." block of the week quiltalong and here's my first block. I chose to use a slightly different heart shape and machine-appliqued it rather than hand-applique. I do hope to learn to hand-applique this year, but just didn't have time to sit down and do that much this time.
I'm eager for the next block to come out tomorrow.
